Functional Pottery

I started making pottery at a community pottery center in Boise Idaho in 1989. For the next few years I made pottery at the center on and off as time permitted. In 1999 I moved to Colorado. My husband and I bought and ran a campground and Motel and had a son the first year. This did not leave much time to throw pots! However in 2007, my husband realized how much I missed my pottery practice and bought me a wheel for my birthday. The next year he bought me  a kiln. The following summer I hound some room on our property to set up a small studio and began making pots to sell in our campground store. In 2021 we retired and turned the campground store into my BIG studio.
